- The rancher receives payment during loading, often before the cattle depart the ranch.
- Retained ownership through a reliable feedlot (Usually Yields the Highest Return)
- Ownership is upheld until the cattle reach the desired weight for processing.
- Producer pays feedlot for feed and/or medical care for cattle.
- Payment is received by the Producer upon the packer's purchase of the animals.
- Exclusive Programs such as Prime Pursuit (available if cattle meet criteria).
